If you're getting new wheels go for a negative off set (mines -12) and avoid the spaces IMO. I currently have a bracket to push out my spare and the tire does cover the middle rear brake light. It's only a temporary solution, I plan to run the rugged ridge hinge setup sometime in the future. Web14 ago 2024 · Lots of guys run 35s on 7.5" wheels even though the tire manufacturer says a range that doesn't include that width. My concern is if the 7.5" wide wheels have the correct backspace. The rubicon axles are longer but only 3/4" longer on each wheel. That's 1.5" longer per axle. I suspect the bs is the same as the stock jk wheels. Web19 lug 2024 · The reason I ask, a 3.5 inch lift on a Sport is much different than a 3.5 inch lift on a Rubicon. The Rubicon has the equivalent of a 2 inch lift, as-is. Most lifted Rubicons have a 2 (or 2.5) inch lift.
